Proven Leader -
After serving six years as the Ward 4 representative on the Ramsey City Council, Debra Musgrove has been proven to be both a respected and influential leader within the community who is dedicated to the mission of a public servant.
Musgrove currently serves on the Planning Commission where she remains involved in volunteering her time on behalf of the residents.
She has a historical understanding of how the city has progressed with development, the policy and code updates that have shaped the city over time and is very interested in hearing the concerns of residents of Ramsey.
Musgrove has also served as the chair of the Lower Rum River Watershed Management Organization and the chair of the Public Works Committee. She was the first City Council Liaison to the Planning Commission and held seats on the Anoka County Joint Fire Commission, the Environmental Policy Board and the Parks & Recreation Committee.
Musgrove currently serves as the Secretary on the Alpine Meadows Homeowners Association Board and serving as a volunteer in the children's ministry at the church.
In her capacity as a former city council member, Musgrove demonstrated the ability to work with local, state and federal leaders to the benefit of the community.
Legacy -
A strong voice in support of growth and development throughout the city of Ramsey since 2018 that will continue to serve the residents, businesses and visitors to our city.
Supportive of the new Public Works building and the Water Treatment Plant that have proven vital to the infrastructure and growth of the city of community and will serve Ramsey long into the future.
Instrumental in securing a Road Maintenance Fund to enable staff to better plan and complete road reconstruction projects. This fund has served residents well with more road projects completed and resulted in fewer resident complaints and project delays.
Supported Highway 10 development with overpasses on Ramsey and Sunfish Blvd. leading to improved safety on the roadways and increased business growth.
Advocate -
One of the most rewarding outcomes in serving as a city council member has been the work accomplished on behalf of the residents and taxpayers of Ramsey.
She has advocated for Ramsey residents and businesses in resolving issues concerning upgrades on private property, and development planning with businesses.
Musgrove has demonstrated her support for individual rights and property rights when addressing city policy and code updates and enforcement issues on behalf of residents, businesses and the taxpayer.
She has been an advocate for Ramsey and taxpayers with responsible governmental growth and transparency in policies and spending.
She is humbly asking for your vote in the primary on August 11th and the general election Nov 3rd.
